Another 50s rockabilly look from the Makers Market in mid June. This vintage monsters-themed skirt is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Her accessories are very well thought out and pick up the accent colours from her skirt nicely; we love the green bucket bag and everyone knows we are a sucker for a bandana here at Pretty Disturbia. This look puts the rock into rockabilly! Yeaaah!

Black cat
tortoise shell specs

We bumped in to Mickey at the Makers Market in Northern Quarter about a week ago, her vibrant orange hair caught our eye and we got chatting. What we love about this outfit is that it is minimalist yet striking and who doesn't love a bit of black hey? Mickey's simple summer dress has been accessorised with gold hoops, Doc Marten's sandals and the vocal point of this look: her amazing tortoise shell cat eye specs! Love. Love. Love.

And here we thought we could not be more dazzled by street style....We were just about to cross the street, but we turned around and ran right into our old pals Harley and Ivy! Going by the alias' of Nicole and Marie, these two are a knocking style out of the park! (and not just with Harleys' bat!)
We love us some over the top and theatrical looks. When asked about what they were wearing, Ivy responded with "Hedera helix (English ivy), a classic I wouldn't be caught without." Oh Ivy, along with your iconic firey mane, you couldn't be caught anyway. Harley chimmed in with "Oh these ol duds? Just some coloured trainers broken in from all our running around. In fact the only thing that I didn't grab with the five finger discount is the bat! Mr.J nabbed it for me, ain't he the greatest?"
You go girls, you go...because Batman is catching up
Pretty Disturbia does not encourage or approve of the five finger discount or organized crime

Pattern Socks
quirkiness

We approached Peter sat outside a cafe in Northern Quarter. We loved the casual yet smart style he had. We thought that the combination of navy on navy was great, navy chinos with a navy checkered shirt, and a pair of patterned socks peeping through great way to add a hint of quirkiness to your style. Also a pair of orange sunglasses must be on everybody's wish list!
