Kieran's thrift shop shirt is giving us poetic romance vibes and we are loving it. This floral, puffy sleeved, shakespearian looking shirt is making him stand out from the crowd. Paired with blue jeans, he looks like hes' ready to sweep someone off their feet! And who doesn't love a man who can match his brown bag with his brown shoes?

Pretty in Black
All dark everything! Natalie has paired together a high neck crop top with a black maxi, perfect; a winning combination for the end of summer. Her long coat is perfect for the cold breezes here and there. The boots adds a heaviness to the feminine look and we couldn't think of anything better than the leather bag to complete it. Natalia definitely has her autumn look sorted.

Totally Fab Tourist Fashion!

We spotted this pair down a Manchester street and could not leave without asking them for a photo because they looked so amazing!
Their style came mostly from their home town but admitted they quite liked River Island and Urban Outfitters here!
We really loved the way they paired their outfits - the bright colours which complimented and contrasted each other at the same time, the fab silhouettes enhanced with figure hugging jeans, bulky boots and nipped waists! Beautiful, elegant and effortless!

We spotted this gentleman walking purposely down Market Street on another sunny Manchester morning and had to stop him where he sourced his fab outfit from - the smart casual match really stood out from the busy crowd.
Jigsaw, Paul Smith and Burton, to name a few, are his favourite haunts but also M&S would be his secret shop for the brilliant basics which are essentials to anyone wardrobe.
He said he was on his way to his club house, where there was to be a football auction to support charity and he was contributing an amazing piece of merchandise - a signed football shirt but Lionel Messi!

Wandering Doctor!

We were approached by Lawrence, who actually works for Cancer Research, drumming up awareness and support on the streets of Manchester and we could not resist snapping a photo of the hard working doc!
Dresses simply and jeans, warm grey shirt and comfy trainers for a day of walking he was a happy volunteer on a sunny day!
Have to admit the doctor coat through us for a bit...and think he should consider it for everyday wear!

Bringing Bowie Back!

I had to stop this girl as she walked through the sunny Manchester streets because of her amazing top - a well worn Bowie t-shirt which she confessed is just getting shorter and more faded through so many washes!
We loved the way she has matched her red pumps with the red writing on her beloved shirt!
Aimee shops mostly at H&M, River Island and Urban Outfitters but prefers old favs...they are irreplaceable!

Stockholme Style comes to Afflecks!

Meet Wes and Tony. We cornered them in Afflecks because they had this air of coolness...and eye-catching trainers!
They were on a visit from Stockholme and loving their experience in this fashionable city.
They get most of their clothes from boutiques back home, like 'Beyond Retro', 'Sneakers & Stuff' and 'Caliroots' so they look completely individual!
Attention to detail with thin chains, funky sunglasses...and, of course, those amazing shoes!

Local Handmade Fashion!

We bumped into Ronan in Afflecks and had to snap a photo because he looked so cool!
After quizzing him about where he got his outfit from; Primark pants, fab River Island jacket and, of course, Doc Martins. But we also found out he is a budding fashion designer in his own right - wearing one of his own designs, a hand drawn portrait of Audrey Hepburn printed on a plain t-shirt.
Brilliant to see a local example of fashion stretching to the streets and becoming a passion!

Throw-back 50's spotted at Afflecks!!!

We discovered this throw-back 50's chic minding her stall in Afflecks and could not simply walk past without quizzing her on her style!
Underneath she was wearing an alternative yellow outfit consisting of an embroidered mustard skirt and a matching cardigan which seemed to evoke that 50's chic style.
We were about to snap a photo when she said we should see her vintage maroon textural cloak with a faux fur trim around the hood and clasp fastening which she found in a charity shop! Bargain brilliance!
And the shoes! I knew they were Irregular Choice without needing to ask but the lady said they were £30 from eBay! I'm there watching some pairs now! And they matched her cute cloak - amazingly co-ordinated and sophisticated!

Walking back to Pretty Disturbia HQ we found this girl near Piccadilly Gardens handing out cards for a tattoo shop.
we thought she looked edgy. she wore a black dear print dress with black tights and red doc martins with yellow laces, finished with a black trench coat. and big statement headphones.

His bright orange hair stood out as he reminded us of the Sex Pistols.
He said he shopped in Afflecks Palace coincidently.
He wore all black which made his orange hair stand out more which looked great as it contrasted.

I'm feeling in a good mood today peeps, so I'm going to introduce you to a new friend of Pretty Disturbia, Machester local: Tara! Isn't her street style envious? I wish I looked this stylish strolling in the Arndale ( I usually look so scruffy!). She was very willing to be part of our blog and gave us a pose! :) She then took some time out to talk to us and tell us about her outfit! Here's what we learned: Tara achieved her fab street look by teaming together: A coat bought on Depop, a Topshop jumper, Primark jeans, and shoes from Internationale! I know I've said this SO many times, but I really do love the people we meet when street styling! And our new friend for the day is the alternative (and not to mention awesome), Salford resident: Emma! I personally love floral, so when I saw Emma and her fab look, you better believe we ran to introduce ourselves to her! :) She was so lovely to talk to and we got to learn about her ootd! Today she wears: A Rockit jacket, a scarf which was a gift, a New Look top, a H&M skirt, a Next pair of trainers, and an eBay headscarf! Olancy Loves Online!

Have I told you guys recently how much I love going street styling? I have? Oh... well tough I'm going to say it again: I LOVE STREET STYLING. It's like an invitation to talk to the most stylish people you see in Manchester :) And todays choice is no exception! Say hello to Olancy! We saw him strolling around near Manchester Arndale markets and practically chased him just to ask for a picture :P It was worth it though, have you seen his style?! It's so funky :) He was absolutely lovely and stopped to talk to us for a bit, and when asking him about his outfit, he told us that the majority of it was bought online! Proof that a bit of technology does no- one any harm. The outfit itself isn't too wacky or outrageous, but the addition of the coloured beads adds as a nice accent colour to the rest of the items :) I'd rate him a 9/10 for fashion easy :P We hope to meet again Olancy!
