Edgy 90s check

19:00
We spotted this 90s midi on our lockdown walks and we just couldn't walk past it! The black t-shirt and accessories instantly add cool edginess to the simple plaid summer dress and make it really stand out. Finished off with matching black Dr. Martens Chelsea boots this outfit is pure perfection for anything really, don't you think?!

Becky with the good style

21:00

Like a rainbow walking down the street, we were marvelled and taken with Beckys bright colours and bold style. She sure knows how to wear a statement piece or three, rocking that indie overload look. Oozing with hippy kitschy goodness, she shops vintage and at charity shops.
You keep doing you rainbow Becky <3

Double Trouble Double Denim!

20:00

We caught students Helen and Briony on a girls trip to Manchester City Centre - can you tell they're friends?! We love a bit of denim so double denim is a bonus!
Helen and Briony look great with their light denim jackets - and we love how they've paired them differently showing there isn't only one way to wear it! A cute vintage print dress and dolly strap shoes or black jeans and doc martens...what would you choose?
Wearing a mixture of H&M and Vintage we think these friends compliment each other very well!

Local Handmade Fashion!

21:30

We bumped into Ronan in Afflecks and had to snap a photo because he looked so cool!

After quizzing him about where he got his outfit from; Primark pants, fab River Island jacket and, of course, Doc Martins. But we also found out he is a budding fashion designer in his own right - wearing one of his own designs, a hand drawn portrait of Audrey Hepburn printed on a plain t-shirt.

Brilliant to see a local example of fashion stretching to the streets and becoming a passion!

They really work well with her black washed out ripped skinny jeans. This look is very on tend right now!

His bright orange hair stood out as he reminded us of the Sex Pistols.
He said he shopped in Afflecks Palace coincidently.
He wore all black which made his orange hair stand out more which looked great as it contrasted.

He wore all Black a bomber jacket, black combat trousers and high doc martins ,which looked great!

River And Docs!

02:00

Meet the lovely Teagen guys! I love her dress! But I will be the first to admit that I love her dress so much because I used to own the same one! Sadly I was foolish and gave it away :'( This stylish Mancunian lady took a few minutes to tell us how she achieved this girly yet quirky look :) Her River Island dress, teamed with her Primark tights and Maroon/ Red Doc Martens show how you can look stylish by mixing different themes :) Keep at it Teagen! Punk and Pink!

03:00

To sum up my opinion of Sophies outfit I'll just use one word .... Amazing. This may be the most alternative and fabulous look I've seen in all my days of street - styling! We caught up with this Punky lady in Afflecks ( you know, because we practically live there!) and we just had to of-course run after her and get her opinion on style! She was such a lovely girl and the Swinton naitive informed us that her jacket was from an online store, top was from Pulp, skirt was from Hell Bunny and her shoes were Doc Martens! We especially j'adore the funky print on the shoes! Not to mention that AMAZING hair! This girl sure knows her style! Stay cool Sophie, you're amazing :) Kisses from Pretty Disturbia! xxx

90's Legendary!

I feel like every episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel- Air is pretty much summed up in this picture! Every bright colour and 90's style trend is worn right here! Say hey to the fantastically styled Ashleigh from Ashton ( ultimate alliteration win!) We met this lovely lady on the streets of Manchester and I automatically ran over to her, I wasn't going to let this fashion win get away without notice! From her bandana and Will Smith t-shirt to her funky belt and her coloured Doc Martens, she took the 90's and made it explainable in one simple look :) She explained to us that she'd accumulated her top from Primark ( Well Done Primark!), her shorts from Urban Outfitters and her boots from Doc Martens of-course :) I absolutely love this look more than words, and on an unrelated matter I am going to go home after work and watch the Fresh Prince ..... :P Kisses from Pretty Disturbia! xxx

Return of the Mac!

03:00

So we made a new friend today! Meet Mac! We met this lovely fella outside Manchester Arndale, and boy are we glad we decided to talk to him. As well as being a style winner, he is also such a nice chap! The Salford native took the time to talk to us about his brilliant style! He achieved this fab day look by combining his boutique- bought coat, his River Island jeans and his Topman Top :) As well as some fab Doc Martin style shoes :) He is definitely our style crush right now :) Never change Mac, because if you stay this way we can have you on our street style blog again!!

Contrast Baroque

03:00
We grabbed Michaela in Afflecks Palace, she was a lovely girl and we couldn't believe where her fabulous clothes were from, the majority were purchased at Primark, such as her baroque print sheer top and skirt. Her black and white leather contrast coat was from River Island. Whilst her purple patent Docs were a brilliant contrast with her bright blue hair!

We found Sassy Sarah here outside Boots doing a bit of shopping wearing her over-sized clothing like her maxi slit skirt from Urban Outfitters and her contrast bright red satchel bag was from Topshop. Her vintagey Doc Martens completed this slouchy, comfortable style!

Monochrome Checkers

02:00
We found this lovely lady outside Manchester Uni's fashion building. She looked simplistic but made a real statement with her black and white cropped trousers from Topshop, black slouchy jumper from Zara and grey Doc Marten pumps.
